Claiming

Flan

Aetheria uses Flan for land claiming. Players can have up to 5 total claims. Claim blocks are earned through playtime.

We advise that players claim all of their builds and chests to avoid being griefed.

To claim an area, right click the two opposing corners with a golden hoe
You can expand an existing claim by right clicking a corner with a golden hoe, then right clicking the block you want to expand it to
Right clicking with a stick will allow you to see the current borders of your claim
By using `/flan menu` you can add users to your claim and give them specific permissions
- By clicking the beacon, you can edit the global permissions for your claim. This changes what everyone on the server can do in your claim
- By clicking the book and quill, you can add players to specific permission groups by clicking the paper group name, clicking the anvil, then typing in the players username
- If you right click the paper group name, you can alter the permissions for that specific group. This way, you can control exactly what individual players can and cannot do in your claim
You can divide up your claim by typing `/flan switchMode` to enter sub claim mode. You then click the two opposing corners within your claim to create a sub claim. These sub claims can each have their own unique permissions, allowing you to for example: have a communal farm which other players can also use, while having your house within the same claim be completely protected from others.
You can keep all other players (or specific players) out of your claim completely by simply setting the paper on the second page in your permissions to false

If you are finding you do not have enough claims for all your builds, consider teaming up with another player you trust to share claims.
