Frequently asked questions in Aetheria and their answers.
- What do I need to join?You need to download the official Cobblemon Fabric Modpack. You can also download this Pokériding Mod, but it is not mandatory to play!
Note: You will not be able to join the server with the Forge Modpack.
- Why can't I see Albino Pokémon?
You need to download our server’s resource pack. This will be automatically prompted with a link upon joining the server if it does not, or you addicentally declined it, you can find it in 🔗links-and-roles.
- How do I protect my base?
Hold a golden hoe (one is provided upon first joining the server) and right click the two opposite corners around your base. This will create a claim, preventing other players from being able to grief your builds. Your number of claim blocks will increase the more you play on the server! For other claim related commands, type /flan help.
- How do I teleport to my claim?
You must set a home to teleport to it using /sethome [name].
If you have not done this, you can locate your claim by typing /flan list to see its coordinates.
- How do I get Legendary Pokémon?
At approximately 06:00Sunday, 26 October 2025 06:00, 12:00Sunday, 26 October 2025 12:00, and 18:00Sunday, 26 October 2025 18:00 a legendary will spawn on any one of the currently online players. If no one is online at least five minutes before the time, the legendary spawn is skipped until the next time period. These are not biome specific, but some are much rarer than others. You can check when the last legend spawned with /spawnevent. Alternatively, you can get them from the Legend, Mythic, and Aether crates.
Roughly every 6 hours after the previous one has been Caught, Defeated or Despawned.
- What time does the server restart?
At 00:00Sunday, 26 October 2025 00:00 every day.
- How do I get Albino Pokémon?
They spawn naturally, similar to shiny Pokémon, but at a much lower rate. They can also be received from the Mythic and Aether crates.
- How do I get crate keys?
By claiming your daily /kits, voting for the server, participating in events, and by purchasing them from our Shop.
- How do I get resources in Peaceful mode?
Many Pokémon drop resources such as slimeballs and string. Drops can be checked on the Cobblemon Wiki. Alternatively, you can purchase them from /warp pokemart.
- How does chaining work?
Hidden Abilities: The more you defeat of a Pokémon species, the higher the likelihood of a hidden ability one spawning (without a chain). This can also further be boosted by chain KO-ing that Pokémon.
Shinys: Boost your chances of a shiny Pokémon spawning by KO-ing the same species in a chain, just like in the games!
IVs: Boost the IVs of wild Pokémon with a capture streak, up to 3 guaranteed max IV stats!
Note: All of this is data is invisible to you the player, but the server is keeping track!
- Why is this server missing features such as megas?
Unfortunately, many of these are provided by mods which must be downloaded both by the player and the server. As a result, many players would be unable to join the server without first downloading all of them, making the server inaccessible to many! We are, however, constantly both looking for and creating our own server-side only features to keep things interesting!
